Noah Bennett

My name is Noah Bennett, and I aspire to become a software engineer. As a person, I would describe myself as a fast learner, a hard worker, and a team player. I have had interest in computers for as long as I can remember. I first began learning about the way they work in high school where I took AP computer science. There, I got my first real taste of coding with java, basic data structures, algorithms, and programming concepts. Currently, I am searching for an internship which I hope will give me valuable experience within the world of computer science and software that will allow me to achieve my goal of becoming a software engineer.

Certificate of Career-Technical Preparation in Marketing Management and Research: Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development; GPA: 4.0
Junior in college: Ohio State University; GPA: 3.7

Data Fest 2024: Competition held by J.P. Morgan where competitors must clean data for a specific purpose and use python to make visualizations towards that end. Finally, competitors present their visualizations and findings to judges.
Data Entry: Worked in data entry using 3D GIS systems to map signs throughout the city of Cincinnati.

Hip-Hop Club: Co-founder of Hip-Hop Club OSU. Hip-Hop Club is a student interest group with over 350 members. Hip-Hop Club also does fundraisers for Hip-Hop for Change for which it has raised over 1000$.
Soccer Captain: Captain of the JV soccer team in high school.
National Honor Society: Member of national honor society. In order to be a member a student must achieve a certain GPA and acquire a certain amount of volunteer hours every semester during high school.
